The Universidad de Extremadura is a public university with different campuses spread throughout the autonomous community of Extremadura . It was founded in 1973 and has 24451 students.

Access to the Universidad de Extremadura

The Universidad de Extremadura consists of 4 campuses:

    • The Cáceres Campus includes the faculties of Nursing and Occupational Therapy, Sports Science, Law, Business Studies and Tourism, Philosophy and Humanities and Veterinary Medicine, as well as the Cáceres Polytechnic.
    • The Merida Campus brings together nursing, industrial design and product development engineering, geomatics and surveying engineering, computer science, information technology, telecommunications and architecture.
    • The Plasencia Campus is located in the center of the city of Plasencia, in a 19th century building, declared a Site of Cultural Interest. It is a multidisciplinary campus where technical forestry engineering, podiatry, business administration and management and nursing degrees are taught. The Plasencia Campus is home to the largest nursing school in the region in terms of number of students.
    • The Badajoz campus includes agricultural, industrial, communication sciences, economic and commercial sciences, education and medicine.
