LEARN SPANISH OR IMPROVE YOUR LEVEL OF SPANISH FOR A FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS IN SPAIN

These courses are given by private schools that will offer you more or less intensive courses lasting a week at least up to a semester or more depending on your needs.

If you are interested in this type of training, click on this link link. You will find the Spanish schools we recommend in Spain. We have dedicated an entire section to these courses, which are designed for students who want to strengthen their Spanish during short stays in Spain before going on to study a degree in Spanish but in a different specialty.

LEARN SPANISH AT A UNIVERSITY

If you have a broader plan to upgrade your Spanish language skills, it is possible to study Spanish in Spain at a university. This allows you to obtain ECTS credits (university credits). These are not degree level studies and the duration is significantly shorter (usually one semester or even one year) than a Grado university course (4 years). But it allows you to learn Spanish in a university atmosphere and to have a choice of subjects that goes beyond pure language learning. It is a total cultural immersion. Depending on your initial level, you can study political or cultural topics, or focus on Spanish for the health sector, Spanish for the business sector, etc. And you can also work in more detail on your writing skills or your Spanish grammar skills. Studying Spanish at a university in Spain means that you are choosing to study at a recognized institution whose professors are amply qualified to help you in your personal project of learning Spanish in Spain. Be aware that these programs, although taught at universities in Spain, do not give you an official degree. They can, however, prepare you to take the official DELE and SIELE exams. You can find more information about these courses at this link.

TO TAKE A UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION

If you are interested in the world of modern languages, it is possible to make a career out of it by enrolling in a university degree program (Grado) in translation/interpretation or modern languages. The language of instruction is Spanish, so a good grounding in Spanish is often necessary to enter this type of program. It is no longer a question of learning Spanish only, but rather of doing an official university course in modern languages where Spanish must be well mastered.

Some universities allow international students to study with English as a basic language (an excellent level of English is required) or adapt the study plan to the student's level of Spanish.

You can choose to study several languages or focus exclusively on Spanish. We will advise you on the best solutions for your needs and profile.

The advantages of studying a language course in Spain are numerous. Not only will you improve your Spanish language skills, but you will also have the opportunity to learn other languages (English, German, Chinese, etc.).

HOW TO BECOME A SPANISH TEACHER IN FRANCE?

Is it really relevant to study in Spain to become a Spanish teacher in France?

In order to teach in France, in secondary schools, the rules are clear: you must have passed the CAPES exam and the MEEF master's degree (2 years).

Studying in Spain may give you access to this master's degree under certain conditions.

The road is long, complicated and random, which is why we do not recommend this option.
