The Credencial issued by the UNED

FEEDUC provides free support for Credencial applications from students who have previously entrusted us with their entire admission process to one of the universities selected in Spain for the quality of its teaching.

• What is Credencial?

It is a document that proves to Spanish universities that the baccalaureate, which a student holds in France, entitles him or her to access the Spanish university system.

• Is the Credencial mandatory?

Yes, all universities in Spain require this document. It is mandatory for all official courses authorized by the Spanish State.

• Who issues this Credencial?

UNED, located in Madrid, is the organization responsible for issuing the Credencial.

•  Can the Credencial application be made without the results of the baccalaureate?

There is no need to apply for a Credencial before the end of June prior to taking the baccalaureate, since the baccalaureate transcript must be provided to UNED as proof of graduation.

• How do I get the Credencial?

The application for a credencial is done online on the UNED website.

Some of our partner universities in Spain do this for students like CEU San Pablo (INCLUDED IN THE HOSPITALITY SERVICE WHICH IS PAYING) and UCJC (FREE). If the university in which the student is admitted and enrolled does not do the process for the student, such as UAX, UEC, UEM, UEV, NEBRIJA or UFV for example, the student must do the process himself.

The university will then retrieve his credencial, directly from the UNED website, thanks to the identity document number.

For FEEDUC partner universities not listed above, please enquire on a case-by-case basis.

This page will be updated each time a decision is communicated to us by one of our partner universities in Spain.

In any case, there's no need to worry: at the universities that accept FEEDUC students in Spain, the credencial is required by the start of the school year at the latest.

•  Who can create an online account on the UNED website?

As the UNED website is quite complex to use, and to make things easier for FEEDUC students, we are going to generate your online account on the UNED website. All you have to do is complete the document entitled "Information for creating an account on the UNED website", which you can download below, and send it to us by e-mail at info@feeduc.eu.

We will create your account for free if you have submitted your study plan in Spain. We remind you that this service is not available to students who have already managed their registration in Spain individually.

You will receive, by e-mail, your information to: personalize your password (Title of the e-mail: Establecer Contraseña para acceso al Campus UNED) and access the file to create your credencial application online (Title: datos de acceso a campus UNED). Check your SPAMS boxes.

• How do I apply for a credencial online?

Just follow the steps in the "UNED CREDENTIAL ONLINE GUIDE".

• Is the credencial free?

For the realization of this official administrative step, the UNED asks for the payment of the sum of 115,45 euros. The payment, secured by SMS code, is made online by credit card during your application. You will receive the receipt of your payment (Title: recibo de pago de solicitud de acreditacion) by e-mail. Check your SPAMS boxes.

• How do I know if my credencial application has been registered?

You will receive an e-mail entitled "Aviso de solicitud de acreditación enviada con éxito".

• Does the application for a credencial require giving documents to UNED?

Yes, you have to send the documents that are indicated on the website when you apply online for a credencial. You have to upload them on the UNED platform and send them by email but you should not (unless you have a special request) be obliged to send them by post. You can find the list of documents to provide, translated into French, below, on the document "LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT TO UNED FOR THE CREDENTIAL APPLICATION".
