10 tips for studying in Spain

Do you want to study in Spain? Are you looking for the right university and need advice on how to organize your adventure? Read the 10 tips below.

Tip #1 Laura's advice

Choose your course of study carefully

You want to be an architect, apply to architecture, you want to be a dentist, apply to dentistry, you want to be a physiotherapist, apply to physiotherapy, etc. The only project we can't help you with is "I want to study anything in Spain: dentistry, medicine, physiotherapy...".

Spain is a profession and I'm giving myself the means to do what I need to do to get into school to do it.

#SpaceIsFinished

You wanted to study in Spain with this level of language? Well, it's not possible! Your A2/B1 level from your last year of high school is really not enough!

Ah, you prefer to study in French/English? But your future patients? Do they speak these languages? Can you imagine speaking English or Spanish at your dentist's/physician's in France? No ? Spanish people don't speak English or French at the doctor's either!

Tip #2 Antoine's advice

A lot of Spanish

Tip #3 Paul's Tip

Beware of "blahs"!

"I can go to Spain to study on my own and without help or else there is "Pépito", I was also told about "Pépita", they send my file to the universities for free.

  1. All organizations send files to universities free of charge
  2. Calling on specialists gives you the chance to find the right university for you without wasting time in unnecessary steps...
  3. It is to benefit from personalized services and advice if you have chosen the right ones, if not...

Madrid, Valencia, Canary Islands, Valladolid, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania .... I'll apply everywhere, so I'm sure I'll have a place!

What if you ONLY apply to the university that matches your profile (language level, academic level, finance, admission process)...

Tip #4 Manon's Tip

Center yourself!

Tip #5 Raphael's Tip

Go and see for yourself!

"But I can do everything from a distance! And then I have the Bac, PACES, swimming pool, ski holidays.... Why go there? There's no point!"

Well, yes, it does! It serves to mentalize you, to project you, to make real a project that is still very... distant!

#EspañaMeVoilà

Everyone told you that you had to do the process as early as December (some even told you that it would be1st come =1st served!!!) and do it as soon as possible because in January there is no more room!

Who is "everyone"? The forums?

FALSE! You have time to think about your project and prepare your admission process. In fact, this is the best thing you can do. There is plenty of room in Spain. So first think about the university that suits you and prepare yourself to have the best possible chance of being admitted.

Tip #6 Jade's advice

Stay zen!

Tip #7 Sabrina's Tip

Be 120% motivated

Going to study and LIVE in Spain is a real challenge. With its very good sides...sometimes very difficult to overcome...but also its more difficult moments, sometimes also very difficult to overcome. Only your motivation will keep you going when the time comes for the question that everyone has asked themselves at least once: "What am I doing here?

#I'm not just messing around

Yes, I'm talking to you, future student! Mom and Dad have always done everything for you. Why not for the studies in Spain too? "I'll fly in September and then that's it..."

Once again, NO! Participating is already planning and preparing yourself to be autonomous. Because once you're in Madrid, Valencia or elsewhere, you'll be on your own and you'll have to manage.

Tip #8 Samuel's Tip

Get involved!

Tip #9 Thomas' advice

Think twice before booking

Sometimes you have to listen to yourself. And if you don't feel it, don't go. Are you really ready to leave family, friends, dogs, cats and goldfish, your baguette and your camembert behind? That is the question.

It is better to delay your project for a year, or simply cancel it if you don't feel like it.

There are worse things than not studying in Spain (although it's still a great life...): it's failing your studies in Spain.

#IAmAboutMeAboutMeAboutMeNot

Are you in the middle of the admissions process? Or have you already been admitted? Don't forget to check your e-mail and SPAMS REGULARLY. All information is transmitted through there. And no, Instagram and Snapchat won't help you get into a college. Students have lost their seats for not reading their emails, it's the ones who got them back for them that were happy!

Tip #10 Lola's Tip

Read your emails!

Bonus tip Nathalie and Clément's advice - FEE

You need to have the finances

"But I'll see it when I get in somewhere..." : NO! Do things in order! Consult your bank, your parents (sometimes they are the same people), your grandparents... in short, consult and get guarantees! Not like some who in August give up because of lack of financing...or, even worse, like others, pushed by other unscrupulous organizations, and who finally did not want to follow our advice and left but had to stop halfway through the course, without a diploma and completely out of money.
